Privacy at Doppl
Last updated: July 27, 2026
This policy covers the Doppl website and private-beta waitlist. We collect only what we need to operate the site, manage access, and respond to you.
We do not sell your personal information. If you join the waitlist, we use your email to manage beta access and contact you about Doppl. You can ask us to remove it at any time.
Information we collect
Information you provide
When you join the private-beta waitlist, we collect the email address you submit and the page or form where you submitted it. If you contact us, we receive the information included in your message.
Website operations
Our hosting and security providers may process standard request data such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, and timestamps to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and diagnose reliability issues.
We use privacy-friendly, cookie-free website analytics to understand aggregate traffic and performance. This can include page views, approximate location, referrer, device and browser type, and interactions such as waitlist submissions or download clicks. Analytics events never include the email address entered into the waitlist form. We do not use advertising trackers on this website.
How we use information
- Manage the Doppl waitlist and private-beta invitations.
- Respond to support requests and product feedback.
- Operate, secure, and improve the website.
- Comply with legal obligations and prevent misuse.
We do not sell, rent, or use waitlist information for third-party advertising.
Service providers
We use service providers only where needed to run the website. Vercel hosts and delivers the site and provides aggregate Web Analytics and Speed Insights. Notion stores waitlist entries submitted through the site. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments.
Information may be processed in the United States or other locations where these providers operate.
Retention
We keep waitlist information while the beta is active and for as long as reasonably necessary to manage access, honor removal requests, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Support correspondence may be kept while it remains useful for resolving the request.
Your choices
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw from the waitlist, by emailing vamika_singhal@berkeley.edu. Depending on where you live, local law may give you additional privacy rights. We may need to verify your request before acting on it.
Security and children
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the limited information we collect, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. Doppl is intended for professional use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the website and beta evolve. We will update the date above when we do. For privacy questions or requests, email vamika_singhal@berkeley.edu.
